Year 1-2 (Ages 6-7)
Foundation literacy, numeracy, inquiry
SGIS uses the Singapore Primary Curriculum which is recognised globally for its academic excellence and strong emphasis on critical thinking, problem-solving, conceptual understanding and analytical reasoning. At the same time, it ensures that children learn at the pace that they are comfortable, with the fun and enjoyment element in mind.
Designed for children aged 6-12, the programme builds powerful foundations in English, Mathematics, and Science, while nurturing creativity, character, and a lifelong love of learning.
At our school, we combine Singapore’s proven academic framework with modern teaching approaches to create a vibrant learning environment where every child learns with purpose and grows with confidence, curiosity, and joy.
Students will complete a compulsory six programmes designed to build a strong educational foundation, focusing on literacy, numeracy, character development, and the cultivation of sound values and positive habits.
SGIS offers a trilingual programme with English Language as the main language of instruction, Thai as the native or second language for non-Thais and Chinese as the third language as we understand the importance and benefits of knowing more languages. Children will learn at their own pace and according to their ability level, so that it will be manageable, and children find joy in learning the languages.
For the high ability group, students will be challenged and their potential stretched.
