Dr. Lim has extensive experience in Singapore's education system. She has served as Academic Director in the Provost's Office, Fellow of the School of Social Sciences, and Executive Director of a skills training academy at Singapore Management University. Previously, she was the principal of three schools, including Raffles Institution, Singapore's oldest and most prestigious school. Dr. Lim held leadership roles in corporate communications, curriculum planning, and policy development at the Ministry of Education, Singapore. She contributed to major national education reviews, including the Revised “A” Level Curriculum and the development of Integrated Programme Schools, and participated in corporate planning teams to reshape primary school education strategies.
Dr. Lim is a board member of the International Positive Education Network and Chair of the Singapore Positive Education Network. She co-founded the Global Alliance of Leading Edge Schools in Sustainability, a network of over 30 schools worldwide, and serves on the advisory boards of non-profit education foundations in Johannesburg, Bratislava, Moscow, Cyprus, Stockholm, Malaysia, and Indonesia. In recognition of her contributions to advancing educational collaboration between France and Singapore, Dr. Lim was awarded the Chevalier dans l'Ordre des Palmes Académiques in 2012. Dr Lim holds a Bachelor and Masters degree of Arts from Cambridge University, a Master of Education degree from Nanyang Technological University and a Doctoral degree in Education from University College London, Institute of Education.
